The first reviews of the upcoming 2018 Chevrolet Equinox are in, and this crossover has critics raving. The new model brings a line of engines designed to optimize power and fuel economy. A sleek design and ergonomic controls make it attractive to the eye. The spacious interior adds to the overall appeal as well.
The new Chevrolet Equinox comes stocked with a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers an impressive 170 hp and 203 lb-ft of torque. That powertrain earns up to an EPA-estimated 32 mpg highway.* Drivers have their choice between front-wheel and all-wheel drive.
An available 3.6-liter V6 engine delivers a best-in-class 301 hp and reaches 60 mph in under seven seconds. On top of that, the new Equinox is capable of towing up to 3,500 pounds when properly equipped. A diesel engine option will come later in the model year.
The upcoming model rides on a new platform, the first update since 2005. The all-new Equinox dropped a whopping 400 pounds while maintaining its elegance. Multi-Flex sliding rear seats offer just shy of 40 inches of legroom for rear passengers. The seats also fold to offer a whopping 63.7 cubic feet of cargo space.
Starting at just $23,100 MSRP, the 2018 Equinox is sure to take your breath away.
We at Carl Hogan Automotive can’t wait for the arrival of the new Chevrolet Equinox!
