FCA recently took home four awards from Strategic Vision for Total Quality Impact. Designed to measure the overall customer experience, this massive survey determined that the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, Fiat 500, Dodge Challenger, and Jeep Grand Cherokee each performed the best in their segments.
According to Chrysler, the Strategic Vision Total Quality Impact (TQI) awards survey more than 39,000 vehicle owners about more than 155 aspects of their specific vehicle. This examines things like maintenance and performance, as well as overall satisfaction, excitement, and personality. With quality ranking as one of the highest factors, it was easy to see why so many FCA model won.
“We see time and again that for consumers, innovation does more to communicate quality than an absence of problems does,” said Christopher Chaney, Senior Vice President – Strategic Vision. “Whether it comes in the form of breakthrough technology, re-engineering a vehicle or creating a new model, consumers feel the positive impact of bold new directions taken by manufacturers.”
Strategic Vision is a San Diego-based research firm that has been performing these tests for 22 years. Measuring everything from reliability to the customer’s emotional response, the TQI awards are designed to give car shoppers a more accurate measurement of cars on the market.
