The all-new Camaro made its European debut, testing at over eight tracks, including the Autobahn. This sixth-generation Camaro is being tuned to be the best-performing, most advanced model on the market.
According to Chevy, 2016 Camaro performance features received some tweaks after making a surprise visit to the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Enthusiasts were impressed by the 2.0-liter Turbo and LT1 6.2-liter V8 engine options, which get up to 455 hp and 455 lb-ft of torque. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, the sixth-generation model is unstoppable.
“Redesigning the Camaro is thrilling and challenging all at once, but the secret is to offer something more,” said Alan Batey, Global Chevrolet brand chief. “For Camaro enthusiasts, it retains iconic design cues and offers even more performance.”
Just how fast is the 2016 Camaro? Though nothing is yet official, Chevy says that the new model will do 0-to-60 in less than 6 seconds. Plus, a distinct engine sound and great new look make the new Camaro one of the most desired models on the market.
