The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica performed well in crash tests performed by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, earning it a Top Safety Pick+ rating. In order to earn the + designation, a vehicle must have available forward collision mitigation technology in addition to earning a good rating in all crash test categories.
