The year 2014 was wildly successful for the automotive industry, with many carmakers breaking their own sales records. Fiat Chrylser plans to continue these positive trends through the next two years, as the automaker hopes to add 20 more models to its catalog.
According to a presentation given by the company at an investors’ seminar, the CEO of Chrysler Fiat, Sergio Marchionne, plans to increase sales by 60 percent in 2018, expanding the Alfa Romeo, Maserati, and Jeep lineups.
Few details have been revealed on the specifics of these 20 new models, but we have high hopes for the consistent and reliable auto company.
To make all these new cars, Fiat Chrysler will have to raise the big bucks, which Marchionne plans to accomplish through a combination of both a Ferrari supercar division and other factors.
