As we grow older, life becomes more and more hectic. Between appointments, work, seeing friends, and just relaxing, it can be difficult to find the time to get exercise in on a regular basis. However, it doesn’t have to be that way. Here are a few simple ways that you can exercise in your car on your daily commute.
Wrists and Forearms
For this exercise, all that you need is a simple grip strengthener that you can pick up at a store down the street for a few bucks. Give yourself 10-15 minutes on each wrist on your commute.
As long as you aren’t looking to become a bodybuilder, you can strengthen your biceps by doing curls on your commute. All that you need is one dumbbell in your car. Doing one arm at a time, you can get in a good workout with 30 minutes of driving.
While you aren’t going to get a six-pack from this exercise, it will help to strengthen your core. While driving, press down on the floor with your feet and lift your hips. Repeat this while driving until you feel satisfied.
Although this workout isn’t going to get you ripped in one month, it’s a great start to leading a more active lifestyle.
