The recently redesigned Tahoe and Suburban already received a mighty power upgrade during their latest refresh, but it looks like Chevy’s planned 2022 model year updates are going to give the full-size SUVs even more of a performance punch. The Detroit automaker has announced that a thrilling new package will be added to the 2022 Tahoe and Suburban that will be especially enticing for trail-riding enthusiasts.
The all-new Off-Road Performance Package is coming to both the 2022 Suburban and Tahoe. The package will upgrade your ride from the standard 5.3-liter V8 gas engine to a 6.2-liter V8 powertrain that delivers 460 lb.-ft. of torque and a massive 420 horsepower. You’ll also customize your three-row SUV with polished stainless-steel dual twin exhaust tips for additional aesthetic flair.
When you upgrade to the Off-Road Performance Package, you’ll also automatically opt for the Off-Road Capability and Max Trailering Package. These packages come with handy features you’ll want for your next adventure, including an electronic limited-slip differential, Air Ride Adaptive Suspension, and Magnetic Ride Control.
Since the Tahoe and Suburban received such a drastic overhaul last year, the only other changes expected for 2022 are trim-level tweaks and new colors. The 2022 Tahoe and Suburban just entered production, but will be here at Carl Hogan Automotive before you know it.
